Birmingham police officers arrived on the scene of a shooting with a 3-year-old victim Sunday morning. According to the Birmingham Police Department, officers responded to the 2600 block of Tempest Drive.

A 3 year old boy is recovering at a Birmingham hospital after being shot inside his bedroom at an apartment complex. Police say shortly before 8:00 a.m. Sunday,

Family members told police they were inside the apartment when someone fired shots into the unit from outside.
