While we periodically see AirPods dip in price throughout the year, the best time to buy is during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday time period. However, that also means they can be some of the first tech items to sell out, so if you’ve had your eye on a new pair or want to gift one this holiday season, we recommend buying them now.

The AirPods Pro 2 are probably the best example of Apple’s outstanding audio engineering and they justify their usual premium price. At the heart of these earbuds is Apple’s H2 chip which powers their advanced audio capabilities and seamless connectivity.

The second generation of AirPods Pro was launched in September 2022, with a revised version introduced last year with a USB-C charging case replacing Lightning. Two years later, the AirPods Pro 2 remain my favorite wireless earbuds, and are probably the best you can buy right now.
