TALLAHASSEE - A West Palm Beach man won a million-dollar prize playing the Florida Lottery 's BONUS LETTER CROSSWORD scratch-off game. Juan Perez Camejo chose to receive his winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man from West Palm Beach turned $5 into $1 million playing a scratch-off game. The Florida Lottery announced on Tuesday that Juan Perez Camejo won the $1 million prize from the Bonus Letter Crossword Scratch-Off game at the Lottery's West Palm Beach District Office.

Florida Lottery scratch-off games have generated nearly $19.5 billion for the state's Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.

A Florida man is celebrating a life-changing win after claiming a $1 million prize from a Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket. Yandy Vargas, 33, of West Palm Beach purchased the winning 500X THE CASH ticket from a Publix supermarket in Lake Worth.

Cash4Life: There were two winners in November, although only one bought a ticket in Florida. The state winner bought a ticket at a Publix in Miami and won $1,000 a day for life. The other winning ticket was sold in New York, with the winner taking home $1,000 a week for life.
