Victor Wembanyama made his return to Accor Arena in Paris, France. The last time he was there, in August, he had to watch in tears with a silver medal around his neck as Team USA won their fifth gold medal in a row.

Wemby’s first NBA game in France was a smashing success, as he went off for 30 points in the Spurs’ 140-110 win over the Pacers.

Wembanyama unveiled a gift of sorts to his hometown and the next generation on Tuesday, a pair of outdoor courts — one for 5-on-5 play, the other for 3-on-3 play — that were built to the specifications that he wanted and sketched out himself.
