Actors Mindy Kaling and Morris Chestnut will reveal nominees for the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards on Dec. 9 during a live announcement on "CBS Mornings" and CBSNews.com.

Previous presenters of the Golden Globes nominations include Alfre Woodard, America Ferrera, Angela Bassett, Anna Kendrick, Cedric “The Entertainer,” Chloë Grace Moretz, Christian Slater, Dakota Fanning, Danai Gurira, Dennis Quaid, Don Cheadle, and Garrett Hedlund.

The 2025 awards season is rapidly approaching, with excitement ramping up as Mindy Kaling and Morris Chestnut prepare to announce the nominees for the 82nd Annual Golden Globes on Dec. 9, 2024.

Kaling, celebrated for her roles in The Mindy Project , Never Have I Ever, and The Office, is also executive producing the HBO Max series The Sex Lives of College Girls and will produce and write the Netflix series Running Point, set for release in 2025.

Morris Chestnut’s announcing the Golden Globe nominations comes ahead of his show Watson, which will also air on CBS and Paramount+ in January 2025. Kaling is also booked and busy with her ensemble comedy, Murray Hill, coming to Hulu.

As per Deadline, the nominees broadcast is scheduled to be held on December 9 on CBS. Kaling and Chestnut will present the nominees for each of the 27 award categories. Cinematic and Box Office Achievement in Motion Pictures and Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television are the two new awards categories that will be presented this year.
