Travelers already at their holiday destinations have much to be thankful for as a Thanksgiving Day storm dumps snow and rain on the East Coast, creating travel woes for thousands still on their journeys.

By noontime, look for heavy rain in southern NH and beginning in southern Maine. Heavy snow is moving into the foothills of western Maine where temperatures are closer to that freezing mark. A defined rain-snow line will build and set-up on the west side of the I-95 corridor. Between 1PM and 8PM will be our worst travel times.

Two separate storm systems carrying heavy rain are expected to impact the busy Thanksgiving holiday travel in New York City, and the second one could even bring some snow to parts of the Tri-State area.
