The Vegas Golden Knights are looking to keep their three-game win streak going when they visit the Colorado Avalanche.

DENVER -- Valeri Nichushkin scored, then had the only goal in the shootout, helping the Colorado Avalanche to a 2-1 victory against the Vegas Golden Knights at Ball Arena on Wednesday. Nichushkin won it in the fifth round with a wrist shot to the short side under the glove of Adin Hill.

Valeri Nichushkin scored the only goal in a five-round shootout and also scored Colorado’s only goal in regulation as the Avalanche beat the Vegas Golden Knights 2-1.

Valeri Nichushkin’s game isn’t all the way back, but he’s certainly making a big impact. Nichushkin scored the lone goal in the fifth round of a shootout Wednesday night to give the Colorado Avalanche a hard-earned 2-1 victory against the Vegas Golden Knights at Ball Arena.
