Yashasvi Jaiswal earned high praise from Alastair Cook for his remarkable 161-run knock in Perth, showcasing grit and audacity at just 22, even sledging Mitchell Starc during India's commanding Border-Gavaskar Trophy opener against Australia.

During the second day play of the first Test in Perth, Jaiswal took a dig at Starc, saying, "You are coming too slow at me". The left-arm fast bowler, had a smile on his face while walking back to his mark.
