The Pennsylvania Department of transportation and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission have issued roadway restrictions ahead of a winter storm which is expected to result in dangerous road conditions Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

PennDOT has lifted vehicle restrictions and returned normal speed limits on major roadways after an icy morning in central Pennsylvania. The transportation department said crews are continuing to treat roads, however. Drivers should be aware of possible icy conditions in some areas, especially bridges and ramps.
