Allegheny County Police have confirmed a Pittsburgh Police officer shot and killed a man in the Hill District on Wednesday evening. Police have not identified the man shot and killed but KDKA-TV has learned that he was a man in his 30 and he was armed at the time of the shooting.

Allegheny County Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting incident in Pittsburgh’s Hill District. County dispatch said one person was transported from the scene near the intersection of Wylie Avenue and Develliers Street shortly after 5 p.
