Last week, Mississippi Sen. Bradford Blackmon introduced a bill that would theoretically ban men from masturbating or engaging in other sexual acts when they have no “intent to fertilize an embryo.” Now, he claims that he has received death threats over the proposed legislation.

The bill would prohibit men from having sex or masturbating unless they intend to fertilize an embryo, with a couple exceptions.

A Democratic Mississippi state senator introduced legislation this week that makes it unlawful for men to masturbate "without the intent to fertilize an embryo," with the lawmaker criticizing anti-abortion measures that only "focus on the woman’s role.

“When a bill has been filed that would regulate what a man is able to do with his own body in his own home, it suddenly has people in an uproar,” he said in a statement, that added he made the proposal to highlight the “double standards in legislation.”

The bill, which almost certainly won't pass, would allow men to be fined for climaxing without the intent to make a baby.
