STETSON, Maine (WABI) - Maine State Police is seeking the public’s help to find a burglary suspect. State Police would like to question a man in regards to a burglary on January 8th in Stetson. The incident happened around 2:00 p.m. on Hughey Road. No other details are being released.
A Maine man was killed in an explosion Friday while using a propane torch to thaw a frozen water tank on a commercial truck, according to Maine State Police. Kerry Holmes, 66, was pronounced dead at the scene of the explosion in Molunkus, a township in Aroostook County in northern Maine, State Police said in a statement.

Maine State Police said the chase ended when the vehicle crashed at the intersection of Range Road and E. Dover Road in Dover Foxcroft. Two men get out of the car and ran into the woods while a woman remained in the vehicle with injuries.
A resident found the remains Saturday afternoon in Garcelon Bog, Maine authorities said. Officials believe the remains, found at the end of Lewiston’s Russell Street, have been in the bog for “an extended period of time,” and there is no danger to the public, the state’s Department of Public Safety said in a press release on Sunday.
