The Philadelphia Eagles signed linebacker Nicholas Morrow to the practice squad on Tuesday following Nakobe Dean's season-ending injury. The team also placed Dean on injured reserve. Dean suffered a torn patellar tendon in his knee in Philadelphia's 22-10 win over the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round of the playoffs on Sunday.

Sunday's wild-card game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers got off to a surprising start. Referees ruled that Packers defensive back Keisean Nixon fumbled the opening kickoff. The Eagles recovered the ball and quickly took advantage of the short field.
