As the NBA trade deadline draws nearer, here are the latest rumors on star players Jimmy Butler, Cameron Johnson and Zach LaVine.

The Brooklyn Nets, who are in the midst of a rebuilding process, made trades in December with the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers -- two teams led by future Hall of Famers hoping to make one last run at the NBA Finals.

Even though there's a need for depth, people around the league think that the Lakers may not go all in at the deadline.

Having already made one big midseason acquisition in recent weeks, the Los Angeles Lakers may be ready to call it a day. Jovan Buha of The Athletic reported
