‘We help the sun do its job’: DOTD crews nonstop effort to open up Louisiana roads and bridges
Department of Transportation and Development crews from Louisiana and Arkansas are still working to get everything back to normal as roads and bridges begin to thaw.

With the help of snowplows, DOTD has reopened one lane on both the Huey P. Long Bridge and the Crescent City Connection. However, state police are reminding drivers to be patient while on the roads.
