STATESBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - Georgia Southern women’s basketball kicked off Sun Belt play on Sunday by hosting Louisiana at The Hill. At the half, the Eagles found themselves in a 15-point hole, which the Ragin' Cajuns extended to a 24-point lead at about the 1:30 mark of the fourth quarter.

South Alabama basketball pulled away in the second half for a 77-51 victory at Georgia State on Thursday, moving to 10-4 overall and 2-0 in Sun Belt Conference play. Barry Dunning scored a game-high 22 points and added eight rebounds for the Jaguars,
