Between its sophisticated ADAS, mediocre specs, and high price, the Afeela 1 seems both a step behind the times and built for a future that hasn't come yet.

Afeela is starting to become a little bit more than just a feeling. The electric vehicle, which is a joint venture between Sony and Honda, is finally available for preorder. And it only took five years to get here.

The technology and entertainment features are sublime, but the execution was less than perfect when we tried them out. Even so, there was plenty of 'wow' factor here.
