The Ole Miss Rebels picked up an overtime win over the BYU Cougars on Thanksgiving to open action in the Rady Children's Invitational in San Diego.

Overtime was ugly. BYU ran out of gas after the end of regulation, shooting 2-11 from the field and failing to find any sort of offensive rhythm. To make matters worse for the Cougars, Ole Miss went a perfect 13-13 from the free throw line in overtime — although some questionable officiating definitely helped make that possible.

BYU had a chance to win Thursday’s matchup with No. 23 Ole Miss, but failed to execute in the final seconds of regulation. The Rebels dominated overtime, getting nine points from guard Jaylen Murray and making 13 of 13 from the foul line,
