President Donald Trump's pick for U.N. ambassador is sharing insight into his direction for foreign relations in a Senate committee hearing on Tuesday.

During her Senate confirmation hearing, President Trump’s pick for ambassador to the United Nations said she was willing to leverage U.S. contributions to force changes in pursuit of his “America First” agenda.

With an "America - and Israel - first" approach the incoming US Ambassador could be on a collision course with the UN, not least over her view Israel has a "biblical right" to the West Bank. But some think Elise Stefanik's reform agenda might be the kick up the proverbial some parts of the UN need.
