This Black History Month, a small town in Northeast Ohio is bringing to light a powerful story of courage, defiance, and the Underground Railroad: the Oberlin-Wellington Rescue.

About three decades earlier, in the spring of 1930, miniature golf courses, in the words of the News, “grew up like mushrooms.” The first to grow up was at 537-39 West Spring Street.
