The Rams naturally want to get clarity on quarterback Matthew Stafford’s status sooner rather than later. Although it is not yet a sure thing, it sounds as if the soon-to-be 37-year-old passer is prepared to continue his playing career.

Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay says he would like to know “sooner than later” about Matthew Stafford’s status for next season.

In his end-of-season press conference, Rams GM Les Snead addressed the status of both QB Matthew Stafford and WR Cooper Kupp, two of the bigger questions facing the team this offseason.  Both have uncertain futures in Los Angeles.
