The bad news for Costco shoppers is there’s a recall of organic eggs sold under the big box retailer’s Kirkland Signature brand because they might be contaminated by salmonella. The good news is this is a relatively confined recall — 10,800 cartons over five states.

The affected eggs are Organic Pasture Raised 24-Count Eggs sold in a plastic egg carton labeled with Kirkland Signature. The eggs are marked with UPC 9661910680, have a Julian code 327 and a Use By Date of Jan 6, 2025.

(CNN) - Nearly 11,000 cartons of organic eggs sold at Costco stores in several states are being recalled due to a potential risk of salmonella contamination.
