Indian Grandmaster Gukesh Dommaraju frittered away a strong positional and time advantage as reigning champion Ding Liren of China put up a strong defence and escaped with a draw in Game 7 of their FIDE World Chess Championship Final match at Resorts World Sentosa here on Tuesday.

The battle for the world chess title returns after the second rest day as D Gukesh and Ding Liren resume their rivalry in Singapore on Tuesday (3 December). Both Gukesh and Ding are tied on three points each after the first six matches.
