An alleged Roger Golubski victim and advocates want an update on nearly $2 million used to digitize his case files

U.S. Courts Probation and Pretrial Services oversee home detention of federal defendants like Roger Golubski who are in home detention awaiting a trial.

Roger Golubski, a former Kansas City detective accused of sexually assaulting and threatening Black women, died by suicide in his home. The news comes after Golubski, 71, failed to show up for court on Monday.

Roger Golubski, who had been accused of raping and terrorizing Black women, was found dead on his back porch on Monday as his federal trial was set to begin.

Roger Golubski’s trial was supposed to start Monday morning in Topeka, but he never showed up. KBI said he was found dead at his home Monday morning.
