May 28, 2008 · Chris' tone was noticeably warmer than Wilton's, even in the band's early recordings. His sound has less upper midrange, more low end, and is much smoother. He got his sound using Kramer super strats through Marshall JCM800 100 watt heads, and Marshall 4x12 bottoms with Celestion Vintage 30s.

Feb 20, 2024 · In 1984 and 1985 Kramer outsold Fender and Gibson combined. Kramer dominated. My dad played back then and so I was raised thinking that the Baretta is the epitome of guitar design (it's literally perfect). The Ibanez RG and S Series were released in 87 and here in northern Europe that was the explosion of the superstrat.
