Either he needs the French to pursue an active advance into Germany, the only possible action that could save the Poles, or a smashing victory over the Germans in Norway.

I could see both of them being nominated for a nobel peace prize (in Hitler’s case posthumously). Instead of Churchill, Chamberlain would be Britain’s most well regarded prime minister, while Hitler would be seen as a second Bismarck.
